Congratulations, your baby is turning one soon, where has that year gone? Cake Smash Sessions are a unique way of celebrating that first special birthday milestone. Not only will your baby have a lot of fun but you will have some amazing images, that you will treasure for years to come. Messy play for baby, that you do not have to clean up after.
The session is held in my studio in March, Cambridgeshire. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
You can pick one of the example themed set ups or choose the colour scheme and I will create a beautiful balloon garland for your little one. The cake is included and is handmade by a fantastic local cake maker. If your child has any allergies, please let me know when you book the session and I will liaise with my cake maker.
During The Cake Smash Session
1. Mini Portrait
At the beginning we warm up by taking some portrait images of your little one with the set up, with out the cake. Giving your baby time to settle in and have some play time.
2. Cake Smash Time!
Then we bring out the cake for your little one to taste and have a good smash at it too.
3. Bubble Bath Splash
Then a fun bubble splash bath to wash off the cake and tiny duckies to play with.
4. Family Portrait
Finally a family portrait. Siblings and your fur baby are welcome to join at the end of the session for 1 family portrait together.

Astra truly made the experience very comfortable and stress free, yes that’s right even with a 1 year old, stress free! With a great choice of themes and guidance the whole time we were planning and after the cake smash shoot! Astra is really professional and such a kind lady!
I was then surprised by the lovely package received with our photos and USB in!
